GLChimimbaMr. G. L. Chimimba (Chairman)
Mr. Chimimba is a Chartered Accountant and currently provides technical assistance services in Finance to projects funded by the European Development Fund (EDF). He has extensive experience in investment management, financial management, pension administration, procurement management and project management. He was part of the fund management team of NITL at First Merchant Bank during its IPO year. Guy previously worked as an Investment Manager and later as the Finance Director for the Botswana Insurance Fund Management Limited and earlier in his career as an auditor with Deloitte and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

 

 

EGondweMrs. E. Gondwe
Esther Gondwe holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences from the University of Malawi, an ACCA Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance from Malawi College of Accountancy and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Brunel University in London, UK.  She has over 10 years’ experience in Human Resource (HR) and Project Management having worked and held senior positions in the HR and Operations Department of the Malawi Development Corporation, a Development Financial Institution in Malawi.   She also has over seven years’ experience managing grants from theUS National Institutes of Health (NIH) as subcontracts to the University of Malawi, College of Medicine from Michigan State University and University of Maryland in the United States of America.  She has also managed grants from Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the European Development Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP).  She has served as a member of a Grants Management Technical committee of the College of Medicine and has participated in the development of the Grant Management Policy and Guidelines for the college.  She is a member and an excellence award winner of the Society for Research Administrators (SRA) International, a US based research management organization.  She has served on various boards as a representative of MDC and on own appointment.

 

REMdezaMr. R.E. Mdeza
Mr Mdeza holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Diploma in Business Studies from the University of Malawi. He also holds a Certificate in Training and Development from Oxford University. Mr Mdeza is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of the United Kingdom. Mr Mdeza is the Chief Executive Officer of the National Oil Company oof Malawi (NOCMA).

 

 

 

 

PKNkataMr.P.K. Nkata
Mr Peter Kamunkwala Nkata is a chartered engineer and has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering obtained from University of Nairobi. He is also a member of various professional bodies including the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, the Operations of Engineers, the Malawi Group of Professional Engineers and the Institute of Road Transport Engineers. Mr Nkata is currently the Managing director of Beehive Limited. He commenced his career as a Graduate Engineer with the Ministry of Works and Supplies in the Malawi Government. Later on he worked in the private sector in various senior roles including General Manager for Chesebrough Ponds and Detergents Factory Manager for Lever Brothers Zimbabwe among others. Mr Nkata is also the Co Founder and Country Director of Mary’s Meals. Between 1995 and 1998 he was appointed to the Board of Directors for Lever Brothers Zambia Limited.

 

GMMsisha (1)Mr. G.M. Msisha
Mr Godfrey Mutaya Msisha is a lawyer with Nyirenda & Msisha (N&M) Law Offices. In this role Mr Msisha has engaged in extensive legal drafting, particularly in matters concerning commercial law and commercial endeavours. Mr Msisha holds the following qualifications: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Rhodes University, Grahamstown, Eastern Cape, South Africa, Master of Arts in Economics from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado, USA and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Ohio Dominican College, Columbus, Ohio, USA. Mr Msisha has had the privilege of working in a number of capacities during his studies abroad and on his return to Malawi, including being a Mutual Fund Accountant in Columbus Ohio and a part-time Business Law Lecturer at the Catholic University of Malawi, Nguludi Campu
